Carving Community is a linocut workshop series created to bring community together and learn the art of linocut — as sometimes we may not have the equipment or knowledge but want to learn the practice! Each workshop is formatted to teach crafting history, share art skills, and foster a space for people to connect through art. Every skill share includes a 15 minute interactive history lesson, art skill demo, and ‘studio’ time to create your own masterpiece. Each class is an opportunity to learn something new and connect with other artists/crafters alike!
Workshops are hosted by local arts organization, The Creative Club Empire • Inland Empire, owned and operated by Vanessa Murray.
